I had Connor just over 5 years ago, blinked, and then registered him for Kindergarten this week.

It brings be all sorts of emotions. Some are good, some are not.

My days with kids at home are numbered. They will never need me all day long like they need me now. Kindergarten, then elementary school, then middle school, high school and even college.

Then a wife and kids of their own.

If only I would have stopped to enjoy the flowers a little bit more along the way.
